Small Scale Creation
Plemo is a platform for individual and small organizations looking to grow their creations. We’re working on websites, merchandise, and content creation.
Plemo LLC is registered in Nebraska, since July 2022. The name Plemo comes from Platte, Elkhorn, and Missouri (MO), the three rivers that cradle the Omaha metro.
Websites
River City Omaha started a couple of years before Plemo was formed. We grew to include websites about sci-fi short form, New York City, and a social thought experiment called Incremental Humanity.
River City Omaha is a website about the Omaha, NE metro. The first project I started in 2020. On this site I track Omaha news, sports, developments, civic matters, and events. I am slowly building a database of informational pages.
Plastic Landscapes is a website is about creating and consuming science-fiction books, shorts, movies, and other media. I started this project in 2022. I am always looking for new sci-fi to enjoy and am investigating the creation process as well.
Big City NYC is a directory of all things New York City. Created in 2023, I am to discover all of New York, not just the obvious touristy stuff. The short, simple posts get to the point about what the place is, where and when you can visit, and how to get there.
Incremental Humanity This website is about making the world a better place through a better understanding of the world.
Online Projects
A couple of side projects that I have started include a murals documentation project that I might turn into a book one day.
Metro Murals is a Twitter/X account I started to document the murals in the Omaha metro. The project has documented over 150 so far. More information can be found on this River City Omaha page.
Continental Divide is a geoparody Twitter/X account that takes speaks on behalf of the North American Continental Divide, joining nearly a hundred other geoparody accounts on Twitter just looking to have fun.
Product Creation
Plemo is in the business of bringing products to life. We’re buying the tools and acquiring the skills to make things from t-shirts, woodcrafts, and graphic designs such as desktop wallpapers.
Physical Products
Using print-on-demand, we’ve started selling a few t-shirts on the River City Omaha store. Next up will be laser engraved and CNC engraved woodcrafts.
Digital Products
Plemo is working on several digital products, though for now we’ve only published a few desktop wallpapers. Next up will be free design templates that you can use in your own projects, such as state outlines.
